I don't think I told you this but the local theatre I did a bit of work for in the States was to have a gig with none other than Frank Black. They were hoping to film the concert and an interview afterwards, all of which I could take part in.
Then the kick in the bollocks came when it turned out the date of the gig was the night of the day I left to come back here. Gutted does not even begin to express how I felt.
I'm sure you heard it a million years ago but in case you didn't grab the live bbc album by the pixies, they always had a habit of sounding just as good live, and in some cases even better. Plus it has their version of Lynch's In Heaven(The Radiator Song) on it!
And ohhhh lovely Kim Deal, which by the way I can't recommend the last Breeders album enough, really lo fi, melodic shit!
Don't forget the new Coxon album either dude, it's called The Spinning Top, just search isohunt.com for it, it's a real grower!
